For Sale: Year of Zayed - 4 pax rowing boat

This amazing Trimaran Rowboat rocketship can accomodate 4 rowers, designed by New Zealand John Cable -Mariner Design- designed for Tradewind 2 record attempt, between Dakar and Suriname. Boat is a fast and safe Trimaran made of Nomex carbon fibre, Ultralight and stiff. We designed with safety and speed and mind to keep a crew of 4 safe under all circumstances. She was build in Dubai by Premier Composites & Technology (also build Americas cup Oracle Catamaran)

We rowed her from Dakar Senegal to Suriname 3300 NM, we reached high speeds averaging 3.8 knots 90-100m days, downwind we can row up to 5KN. We sit under a canopy of Solar panels out of the Sun (I got bad skin). The "roof" is structural and created buoyancy, but it also holds sound system, camelbag drinking system, USB chargers and oar storage. Our rowing position is ergonomic and close to the water, very similar to a Coastal rowingboat with a narrow hull our wetted surface is a lot less then a Monohull and a much more stable platform. We also have a retractable daggerboard to reduce sideway drift when not rowing downwind. On our attempt we had current and wind sometimes against us and gave us trouble, after 2800NM we had a critical rudder failure and had 4 attempts to repair and had to be towed into port. our normal rig also included a paranchor and had a good setup, unfortunately lost at sea.
Unique and very stable boat fully equiped with 6 sets of CROAKER oars in various lengths.
